Overview

APPLICANTS MUST RESIDE IN THE ELK VALLEY REGION OF BRITISH COLUMBIA AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION
This is an entry level position with the opportunity to develop valuable skills and knowledge in the legal profession . You will support lawyers , other staff and clients in achieving the best outcomes possible. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a law office is a plus, but not required.

Duties

Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately with proper phone etiquette
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office
Handle filing, document preparation and general tasks to ensure organized records management
Support bookkeeping activities and assist with billing processes as needed
Support administrative tasks such as scanning, photocopying, faxing, mail handling and preparing correspondence

Experience

Prior office experience is preferred, especially in administrative or clerical roles
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Previous experience in a law office is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong organizational skills

A desire to learn and expand your skills and knowledge is the key to success in this position. This position offers an engaging work environment where organizational skills and service excellence are highly valued. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient office operations while providing outstanding support to clients and team members alike.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
