Digital Marketing Coordinator — AI & Content Specialist

Motorcity Mitsubishi is a small, family-run dealership in Whitby with big plans for the future. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator — AI & Content Specialist to help us build the next phase of our dealership’s digital presence.
We are shifting more of our marketing focus toward our own website, our own content, our own customer journey, and our own digital sales process. Our goal is to make Motorcity’s website a trusted local destination where customers can research vehicles, understand their options, compare models, explore trade and finance pathways, and connect with our team directly.
This is a new kind of role inside our dealership. We are looking for someone who is curious, organized, tech-comfortable, and excited about using AI tools to create better website pages, landing pages, vehicle content, campaign material, and customer-facing digital assets.
Automotive experience is not required. Traditional marketing experience is helpful, but not mandatory. The right person will be sharp, coachable, detail-oriented, and able to turn direction into clean, useful digital work.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will help Motorcity Mitsubishi improve and manage our digital content, website experience, and online marketing execution.
Responsibilities may include:
- Creating and updating website landing pages for Mitsubishi models, promotions, service campaigns, private sales, and dealership events
- Using AI tools to help draft website copy, FAQs, model comparisons, customer education content, email drafts, ad copy, and social content
- Fact-checking and verifying AI-assisted content against official Mitsubishi Canada product guides, program information, and dealership compliance standards before anything is published
- Reviewing website pages for accuracy, broken links, mobile usability, missing information, and customer-flow issues
- Helping build stronger vehicle research pages for models such as Outlander, Outlander PHEV, Eclipse Cross, and RVR
- Supporting the creation of clean page layouts, banners, content blocks, vehicle visuals, and simple graphics using tools such as Canva
- Working with dealership leadership to turn strategy into usable content and digital assets
- Coordinating website updates and support tickets with website vendors
- Assisting with Google Business Profile updates, SEO content, local landing pages, and dealership visibility
- Helping organize and update monthly program, incentive, and campaign content
- Supporting vehicle walkaround scripts, video content planning, and digital merchandising
- Reviewing basic digital reports such as traffic, clicks, leads, cost per lead, form activity, and campaign performance
- Testing lead forms, buttons, calls-to-action, inventory links, and customer pathways
- Helping ensure our website content is accurate, professional, compliant, and useful to customers
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms
- A strong writer or willing to become one with coaching and AI support
- Curious and willing to learn automotive, Mitsubishi products, dealership operations, and customer buying behaviour
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple small projects at once
- Comfortable working with websites, online tools, Google, Canva, spreadsheets, and basic digital platforms
- Able to follow direction but also think critically and spot problems
- Careful with facts and not willing to publish inaccurate or unverified information
- Comfortable asking questions when something does not make sense
- Interested in how customers move from online research to dealership contact, test drive, trade appraisal, and purchase
- Excited by the idea of helping build something from the ground up
Experience That Would Help
The following experience is helpful but not required:
- AI course, digital marketing course, communications program, business program, or related training
- Website editing or CMS experience
- Canva or basic design experience
- SEO, blog, or content writing experience
- Social media content creation
- Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Meta Ads exposure
- Dealership, retail, real estate, e-commerce, or local business marketing experience

- An automotive expert
- A paid advertising specialist
- A salesperson
We can teach the automotive side. What we need is someone who can learn quickly, use tools intelligently, execute carefully, and help us build a stronger digital presence.

You will help create the pages, content, structure, visuals, FAQs, and customer pathways that make it easier for people to research, compare, ask questions, book appointments, value their trade, and move forward with confidence.
You will be part of building something new — not just maintaining social media posts. This is a role for someone who wants to use modern tools, including AI, to help a local dealership create a better, more transparent, and more helpful customer experience.

Location & Schedule
This is a full-time role based at Motorcity Mitsubishi in Whitby, Ontario.
The role will be in-person during the initial training and onboarding period to allow close collaboration with dealership leadership, access to vehicles for content verification, coordination with sales and service teams, and a better understanding of how customers move through the dealership experience.
After the initial training period, hybrid flexibility may be considered based on performance, role requirements, and business needs.
Compensation
Salary range: $42,000–$55,000 per year, based on experience and demonstrated ability.
Use of AI in Hiring
Motorcity Mitsubishi may use AI-supported tools to assist with organizing applications, reviewing candidate information, or preparing interview materials. Final hiring decisions are made by people.
