Full job description

OJCR Construction Ltd. is a family-owned business based in Toronto, specializing in water, storm and sewer construction projects. With a reputation for excellence in the industry, we have been in operation for over 30 years. We are committed to providing quality services that meet the highest standards and strive to deliver exceptional customer service in a safe working environment.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Project Manager role located in North York, ON. The Project Manager will be responsible for:

Maintaining proper and accurate project documentation according to each contract.
Participating in the preparation and completion of Tenders.
Controlling and monitoring projects' progress.
Communicating with stakeholders including architects, engineers, building inspectors, contractors and sub-contractors.
Promptly reporting and escalating project issues as required.

Qualifications

2+ years of work experience in water, sewer, storm infrastructure projects
2 years of experience in project management is preferred
Valid driver's license required
Ability to perform inspections and maintain quality control standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and project management software
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Knowledge of construction safety practices is an asset
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related field is preferred
