Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver / Roll Off Driver and become a vital part of our vehicle recovery and scrap metal operations! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and bins using specialized equipment. Your expertise will ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

Safely operate tow trucks and roll-off containers to retrieve, transport, and deliver vehicles or waste materials across various locations.
Conduct thorough inspections of trucks and equipment before and after each shift to ensure optimal safety and functionality.
Assist customers with vehicle recovery, providing excellent customer service through clear communication and professionalism.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with trucks or containers, performing basic repairs or notifying maintenance as needed.
Operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when required to load or unload materials efficiently.
Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during transit to prevent accidents or damage.
Maintain accurate logs of all trips, deliveries, inspections, and incidents for record-keeping purposes.

Experience

Must have a valid tow truck license with a minimum of a DZ
Prior experience operating tow trucks and roll-off containers is required.
Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance or repair is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery is a plus.
Knowledge of automotive repair basics helps in troubleshooting minor truck issues efficiently.
Ability to work independently in a physically demanding environment while maintaining attention to safety and detail.
