Shift: Continental Night Shift (6:15 pm - 6:30 am)
Rate: $28+/hr (depending on experience) + $5 shift premium
What does a CNC Machine Setup Operator do?
- Responsible for setting up, tooling Vertical and Horizontal 3 & 4 axis CNC machining centers.
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation
- Be prepared to work rotating continental shifts and or modified hours.
- Maintain work areas clean, orderly, and safe, including returning tools to designated areas.
- Statistical process control
- Works with lead-hand set-up and operators
- Set-up jobs for operators
- Edit Programs as needed
- The applicant should possess functional and technical skills, attention to detail and good judgment.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including fluid and filter checks.
- Set-up and operate manual machines at varied work centers.
- Other duties as required.
What do you bring to the table?
Must have:
- 5 years of CNC Mill Set-up experience
- Strong knowledge of inspection & measuring equipment
- · Shop-level knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- · High School Diploma
Desired:
- Red Seal
- Skilled trade ticket
- Programming experience
- Familiar with Fanuc & Heidenheim control
- College Education
