Summary
We are looking for an AV Senior Solutions Engineer to join our team as a member of ICON Media. This position will support the Sales Team in selling ICON Media’s digital signage solutions. The candidate must be available to travel throughout North America. This position reports to the Manager, Design Solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
The AV Senior Solutions Engineer will play an important part in the continued growth of ICON Media. They will bring industry experience and their subject-matter expertise in working directly with the ICON Media Sales team in supporting the sales cycle to:
- Develop technical solution designs and architecture to achieve desired outcomes
- Generate bills of materials for design solutions as needed
- Assist sales with technical aspects of proposals, pricing models, SOW’s, and RFP responses
- Communicate technical design requirements and implementation details to the sales team and customers, through written documentation and oral presentation
- Provide the implementation team with all necessary documentation and support for the successful completion of the project (including design solution configurations and diagrams)
- Work with the implementation team during the installation phase to ensure final project installations are to specifications
- Create and document customer requirements, workflows, and high-level use cases
- Provide technical expertise on sales calls (in-person, phone, webinar)
- Understand client needs and work face to face with client representatives, especially technical resources during the sales phase
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- Knowledge of Autodesk software, Microsoft Visio, and other schematic/visualization programs
- Knowledge of IT networks including subnetting and VLAN configuration considered an asset
- Industry recognized certifications such as Avixa CTS/CTS-D considered an asset
- 5+ years of design, operations and/or field installation experience in the industry
- Experience developing solutions using multiple vendors, products, and/or services
- Demonstrable technical acumen, including large format LED solutions, video transport and playback systems, content management and mechanical mounting solutions

Pay: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
