TutorBright is hiring an in-home Tutor-Mentor in Newmarket to support a student in the following areas:

K–3 level Math and Language
Foundational literacy and numeracy support

Our tutors do more than teach. They mentor students, helping them build confidence and succeed both academically and personally.

Hours and Commitment

Sessions typically scheduled on Mon/Wed/Fri 3-4pm ET
Sessions are usually 1 to 1.5 hours and occur on a consistent weekly schedule
In-home tutoring only

What We’re Looking For

Confident supporting K–3 level Math and Language
Must be able to travel independently to student's location (L7B 1K5)
Patient, supportive, and encouraging teaching style
Experience or comfort supporting students with diverse learning needs
Currently enrolled in or graduated from college or university
Strong communication skills
Familiarity with the Ontario curriculum, as a teacher, tutor, or former student

Nice to Have (Optional)

Previous tutoring, coaching, or mentoring experience
Experience supporting students with learning differences
Enrollment in or completion of teacher’s college
