Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor + cutting master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail, ensuring each garment is crafted to the highest standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in an Indian Boutique, creative and customer-focused environment, providing personalized clothing solutions to clients. The position requires a commitment to quality, precision, and excellent customer service.

Duties

Measure clients accurately to determine tailoring needs and ensure proper fit
Alter, repair, and customize garments according to specifications
Operate sewing machines and other tailoring equipment safely and efficiently
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert recommendations
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally
Keep detailed records of alterations and customer preferences for future reference

Skills

Basic math skills for taking measurements and calculating adjustments
Strong attention to detail to ensure precise alterations and high-quality finishes
Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs
Proficiency in operating sewing machines and tailoring tools
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks effectively
Good communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members
Flexibility and adaptability to handle various types of garments and tailoring requests
