KidStrong is a science-based kids training program that builds strong, confident, high-character kids through structured coaching and performance-based training for children aged 15 months to 11 years.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced General Manager or Assistant General Manager with proven leadership and operational accountability experience (2+ years preferred). This is not an entry-level role.
The General Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of center performance, including operations, sales, team leadership, and member experience in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
You will be accountable for both people leadership and business results.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Business Management
- Oversee daily center operations and execution of standards
- Manage KPIs including membership growth, retention, and revenue
- Ensure facility cleanliness, safety, and brand standards
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and efficiency
Sales & Membership Growth
- Drive membership sales and conversion performance
- Follow up on inbound leads (calls, texts, emails)
- Support local outreach and community engagement
- Improve trial-to-membership conversion rates
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop Assistant Manager and Coaches
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train staff
- Manage performance, accountability, and team standards
- Build a high-performance culture
Coaching (Hands-On Component)
- Deliver classes (approx. 3–5 per week)
- Maintain coaching certification
- Support program quality and staff development
Required Experience
- 2+ years leadership experience required
- Experience managing teams in a customer-facing environment
- Proven KPI accountability (sales, retention, or operations)
- Experience in fitness, recreation, retail, hospitality, or franchise operations strongly preferred
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
