Job Title: Autobody Painter Prepper

Location: ZhoopZhoop Collision & Mechanical
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
ZhoopZhoop Collision & Mechanical is looking for a skilled and dependable Autobody Painter Prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing vehicles for high-quality refinishing, ensuring all surfaces meet our standards before entering the paint booth.

Key Responsibilities:

Mixing and applying paint according to manufacturer specs
Color matching and blending
Sand, mask, and prime vehicle surfaces prior to painting
Clean and prep panels to ensure proper paint adhesion
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow shop procedures and quality standards
Following safety procedures and using PPE
Working collaboratively with other technicians and team members

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in automotive prep and painting
Knowledge of refinishing techniques, paint systems (e.g. akzonobel)
Strong attention to detail and quality
Knowledge of prep tools and techniques
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
