Bone Cutting Band Saw Operator

Location: Newmarket, ON

We are currently hiring an experienced Band Saw Operator to join a busy food production facility in Newmarket. This is a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate an industrial band saw to cut animal bones safely and accurately.
Process a high volume of bones throughout each shift.
Ensure consistent cuts while meeting daily production targets.
Inspect materials for quality before processing.
Clean and maintain the band saw and surrounding work area.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health & safety procedures.
Assist with other production duties as required.

Requirements

Previous experience operating an industrial band saw is required.
Experience in food manufacturing, animal by-product processing, or a similar production environment is an asset.
Comfortable handling animal bones and working in a production facility.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
