Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and creative Mixologist who is passionate about cocktail craftsmanship and guest engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and mixology techniques, along with the ability to create and consistently prepare high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain an organized and efficient bar operation while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Create signature cocktails and specialty beverages that enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain expert knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines, beers, and current beverage trends.
- Recommend beverages and pairings based on guest preferences.
- Ensure consistency in drink preparation, presentation, and portion control.
- Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with Smart Serve and applicable regulations.
- Operate POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately.
- Monitor and maintain bar inventory, supplies, garnishes, and beverage stock levels.
- Assist with inventory counts and report shortages to management.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards throughout the bar area.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure efficient service.
- Assist in training and mentoring bar staff as required.
- Support special events, private functions, and promotional beverage programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mixologist, Bartender, or Cocktail Specialist in a restaurant, lounge, bar, nightclub, or hospitality environment.
- Valid Smart Serve Certification.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, liqueurs, and cocktail preparation techniques.
- Experience creating and preparing classic and contemporary cocktails.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and presentation standards.
