Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing customer orders efficiently, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons. Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in hospitality, cash handling, and food safety within a dynamic setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences
Use POS systems like Micros POS to process orders and payments efficiently
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces in compliance with food safety standards
Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including billing and change issuance
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
Follow all food safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours

Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings is preferred but not required
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Basic math skills for cash handling and bill calculations
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
Hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to creating an inviting atmosphere for guests

This role offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills in hospitality, customer service, and beverage management while contributing to an enjoyable guest experience.

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
