Position Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting senior leadership by delivering high‑quality financial analysis for existing operations and evaluating new investment opportunities. This role is ideal for a technically strong finance professional who excels in financial modeling, business evaluation, and analytical problem‑solving.
You will support both operational financial analysis and deal‑related evaluation, including scenario modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis. This is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to strategic decision‑making in a fast‑paced, investment‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Management Reporting
- Prepare and support consolidated dashboards and management reporting packages.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure timely month‑end reporting and forecasting.
- Analyze financial performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare analytical materials to support management’s strategic decisions.
Deal Analysis & Financial Modeling
- Develop and maintain financial models for potential investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
- Perform detailed business and financial analysis, including scenario and sensitivity testing.
- Assist with due diligence activities, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors.
- Maintain and update the deal pipeline tracker with accurate opportunity tracking and milestones.
- Manage the deal data room, ensuring documentation is organized and accessible for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor timelines and follow up on outstanding items to ensure transaction workstreams progress efficiently.
Business Analysis & Strategic Support
- Conduct business and operational analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and profitability enhancement.
Ad‑Hoc Analysis & Strategic Projects
- Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis as required.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives across the organization.
Employment Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- CPA or CFA designation preferred.
- 4–6 years of experience in financial analysis, public accounting, transaction advisory, investment analysis, or corporate finance.
- Strong experience in financial modeling and business analysis (required).
- Private equity or deal experience is an asset.
- Retail industry experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling capabilities.
- Highly detail‑oriented with strong analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Quick learner with intellectual curiosity and a drive to improve processes and insights.

Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
