About Us
We are a growing family medical clinic in Scarborough providing primary care, walk-in services, preventive health checks, women’s health services, chronic disease support, referrals, and general family medicine services.

We are currently inviting applications from medical graduates, international medical graduates and individuals with healthcare backgrounds who are interested in gaining experience in a Canadian family practice setting.

Opportunity Available
This opportunity may be suitable for applicants seeking either:

Paid part-time clinic support work, depending on experience and clinic needs
Volunteer or work-experience exposure, where appropriate and eligible
Development toward possible future paid employment, depending on performance, suitability, availability, and clinic requirements

Possible Duties / Learning Areas
Depending on the applicant’s background and the type of placement, the role may include exposure to:

Family practice clinic workflow
Patient reception and appointment support
EMR use and basic clinic administration
Patient registration and documentation support
Preventive care and women’s health clinic processes
Communication with patients, pharmacies, laboratories, and other healthcare providers
General primary care operations in a Canadian medical clinic

Clinical duties will only be performed where appropriate, supervised, and legally permitted.

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:

A medical graduate, IMG, medical learner, or healthcare-trained applicant
Interested in Canadian family medicine and primary care
Professional, reliable, punctual, and respectful
Able to communicate clearly with patients and staff
Comfortable learning clinic systems and EMR processes
Interested in women’s health, preventive care, chronic disease care, and family medicine
Willing to develop within a supervised family clinic environment

Requirements

Healthcare or medical background preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Professional attitude and respect for patient confidentiality
Ability to work in a busy family clinic environment
Previous Canadian clinic experience is helpful but not required
EMR experience is an asset but training may be provided

Compensation / Placement Type
Paid positions may be available for suitable applicants depending on experience, duties, and clinic needs.

Volunteer or work-experience placements are also considered where appropriate and compliant with applicable rules.
