Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compounder / Mixer to join our Food manufacturing team. This role involves preparing and blending raw materials to produce high-quality compounds used in various products. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with manufacturing processes, and familiarity with warehouse operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately measure, mix, and blend raw materials according to specified formulations and procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards
Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment, performing basic troubleshooting as needed
Assist in the setup and calibration of mixing equipment to ensure consistent product quality
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Document production activities accurately and report any issues or deviations from standard procedures

Experience

Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, or assembly environments is preferred
Experience working with hand tools and power tools in a production setting is advantageous
Knowledge of safety procedures related to manufacturing or warehouse work is beneficial
Prior use of assembly techniques or handling raw materials in a manufacturing context is a plus

This role requires a proactive individual with strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, safety awareness, and a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
