Lead What's Next for Social at Canada Computers
Technology moves fast — and so should social.
From gaming and PC builds to product launches, major tech brands, promotions and events, Canada Computers has no shortage of stories to tell.
We're looking for a Social Media Lead to take ownership of our social media direction — leading the team, shaping the strategy and using performance insights to drive stronger results.
This is more than a content creation role. We want someone who can connect what our audience cares about with what creates value for the business.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and develop the social media team, setting clear priorities, direction and expectations
- Own and evolve our strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and emerging platforms
- Turn business priorities, product launches and vendor campaigns into relevant social opportunities
- Guide content direction, storytelling, short-form video and brand voice
- Build stronger engagement with customers, creators and Canada's tech community
- Set meaningful KPIs and use performance data to continuously improve
- Work closely with Marketing and cross-functional teams on campaigns, promotions, e-commerce and events
- Identify what's working, what isn't — and what we should do next
We're looking for someone who can lead the work, not just assign the work.
What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing or a related field
- Experience leading, coaching or directing team members
- Strong understanding of social strategy and major platforms
- Strong knowledge of short-form video and modern social storytelling
- Experience using analytics and performance data to make decisions
- Understanding of organic and paid social
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving retail environment
- Experience in technology, gaming, PC hardware, consumer electronics or retail is an asset — but curiosity and the ability to learn quickly matter too.
