The receptionist will be the first point of contact for Cummins Hydraulics Ltd. A professional telephone manner, ability to multitask and attention to details are a must for this customer service-oriented role in a fast-paced environment. The receptionist duties include, but are not limited to, answering all incoming calls, directing customers to the appropriate departments, responsible for accounts recievable & assisting in the accounts payable department . To thrive in this position, you must be organized, patient, excellent command of the English language, have exemplary memory skills with extensive customer service knowledge. The receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure all our customers have a positive experience when calling Cummins Hydraulics and that their questions and concerns are answered in a positive and timely manner. The receptionist will report to the Office Manager.
Duties and responsibilities
- Administrative:
- Telephone reception
- Accounts Receivable
- Assisting with accounts payable
- Follow up on all overdue accounts weekly
- Mail statements monthly
- Clerical duties such as filing and sorting and distributing mail
- Assist in Inventory
- Assist in data entry-inventory counts
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of experience in industrial service (hydraulic experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Determine clients’ needs and relay this information to other staff members

Physical requirements
Sitting for long periods of time, majority of time spent at a computer and answering telephone.
In house hydraulics training, Health & safety training, product training, & quality training will be available for all staff.

Will report directly to the Office Manager

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
