Eyes Daycare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Daycare Supervisor to lead our childcare center with excellence, integrity, and a strong commitment to quality early learning.

Daycare Supervisor – Roles and Responsibilities

- Address and resolve conflicts among staff, parents, or children in a professional and constructive manner.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a licensed childcare setting.
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) designation and membership in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- Current CPR and Standard First Aid Certification.
- Up-to-date immunizations, or the ability to provide a notarized Statement of Conscience or Religious Belief for exemption.
- Demonstrated experience working with Toronto Children’s Services and familiarity with related procedures and requirements.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check dated within the last 6 months, or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), How Does Learning Happen?, and the Child Care Licensing Manual.
- Familiarity with the City of Toronto AQI assessment tool and Every Child Belongs framework.
- Understanding of Toronto Public Health Guidance for Child Care Settings.
- Basic knowledge of accounting or budgeting principles is considered an asset.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a vehicle would be considered an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.00-$33.00 per hour
