Job Summary
We are looking for a driven and client-focused Mortgage Agent Level 2 to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of files, think independently, and confidently guide clients through complex mortgage scenarios.
You will be responsible for managing deals end-to-end — from initial client conversation to funding — while delivering a high level of service, speed, and accuracy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Guide clients through mortgage and refinancing options based on their financial situation and goals
- Analyze income, credit, liabilities, and property details to structure viable mortgage solutions
- Position and present deals to lenders to secure competitive approvals and terms
- Manage files from application through underwriting, commitment, and funding
- Prepare, review, and validate documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, setting expectations and providing updates
- Build and manage relationships with lenders, BDMs, and referral partners
- Use CRM systems to track pipeline, follow-ups, and deal progression
- Stay up to date on lender guidelines, market trends, and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities within existing files (renewals, equity take-outs, restructuring)
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed Mortgage Agent Level 2 (FSRA)
- Experience in mortgage brokering, banking, or financial services
- Strong understanding of mortgage products (A, B, and private lending preferred)
- Ability to structure deals — not just submit them
- Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Strong negotiation skills and lender communication experience
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with data, financial calculations, and document review
- Proficient with CRM systems and general business/financial software tools
- Self-starter who can manage their own pipeline and priorities

Compensation
- Commission-based with strong earning potential
