We currently have an opening for Deburr Technician
Duties and responsibilities
The qualified Deburr Technician will support the Production Team. The position is responsible for efficiently performing manual blending and polishing on precision components using multiple types of deburring tools that remove rough edges on metal parts, per engineering specification requirements.
Position Description:
- Perform deburring operations by removing excess metal and surface defects from parts by polishing, grinding, and cleaning per engineering specifications.
- Operate hand-grinding tools or machines normally used for deburring including manual lathes.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality and production standards.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pump truck and overhead crane.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years related work experience in a custom machining environment, within a manufacturing team.
- Capable of reading and interpreting customer blueprints
- Ability to select tools, read specifications, manuals and work procedures.
- Knowledge of micrometers, bore gages, optical comparators, surface analyzing equipment, calipers, height gages

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work under pressure
- A confident self-starter with sound decision making skills
- Must be thorough and accurate and maintain attention to detail in a fast paced environment
