Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in medical or dental offices is a plus, but not mandatory. The Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

Duties

Greet and assist visitors, clients, and patients with professionalism and courtesy
Manage multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and take accurate messages
Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems
Schedule appointments and manage calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Handle administrative tasks such as photocopying, faxing, and proofreading documents
Process payments and perform basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks or similar software
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
Support office staff with clerical duties including typing, filing, and document management
Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Assist with medical or dental office procedures as needed, including patient check-in/out

Qualifications

Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or customer service roles
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
Experience with data entry, filing systems, and multi-line phone systems
Knowledge of QuickBooks or bookkeeping software is preferred
Excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
Attention to detail for proofreading and data accuracy
Previous experience in medical or dental office settings is advantageous but not required
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $18.15-$22.00 per hour
