Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients while delivering high-quality grooming services. Your ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers will be key to ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

Duties

Provide a range of barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims, tailored to meet individual client preferences.
Sanitate tools and workspaces according to health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
Communicate with clients to understand their grooming needs and offer professional advice on styles and products.
Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products and tools that complement the services provided.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the client experience and increase overall sales.
Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments, checking clients in and out, and handling payments.
Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the grooming industry.
Strong skills in hair styling techniques, with an eye for detail and creativity.
Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients of diverse backgrounds.
Experience in retail sales is preferred, with a focus on upselling grooming products.
Strong customer service orientation, ensuring that each client feels valued and satisfied with their experience.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Knowledge of sanitation practices relevant to barbering is essential.
