Position Summary

We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and dependable Bartender/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, provides exceptional customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude and ensuring every guest has an outstanding dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

Greet guests promptly with a warm and welcoming attitude.
Take food and beverage orders accurately.
Offer menu recommendations and answer questions about food and drink selections.
Ensure guests receive attentive, professional service throughout their visit.
Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Process bills and payments accurately.

Bartending

Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards.
Verify guest identification and comply with all liquor laws and Smart Serve regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are low.
Ensure responsible alcohol service at all times.

Food Service

Deliver food and beverages efficiently and accurately.
Check food quality before serving.
Assist with food running and supporting fellow team members during busy periods.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily features, and promotions.

Teamwork

Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, servers, hosts, and management.
Assist teammates whenever needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Communicate effectively with all team members.
Be willing to stay until business needs are met unless approved by management to leave.

Cleanliness & Organization

Complete opening, running, and closing duties.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar, server stations, and washrooms as assigned.
Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and workplace policies.
Keep work areas stocked and organized throughout each shift.

Qualifications

Previous serving or bartending/serving experience is required.
Valid Smart Serve Certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Positive attitude with a team-first mindset.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Frequently bend, reach, carry trays, and move throughout the restaurant.
Work efficiently in a busy, high-energy environment.
