King City Trailers is a well-established, independently owned business with over 35 years of experience in trailer sales and truck accessory sales and service. Our clients include Small businesses, commercial fleets, dealerships, and individual customers who rely on us for practical solutions and dependable service.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled, certified 310J or 310T Mechanic (Truck & Trailer Technician) to join our professional and supportive team. We have a tenured and skilled group and we are looking to replace our certified mechanic who is soon retiring.

Competitive Pay & Benefits: Depending on experience, an hourly base wage of $40 - $45/hour, with the opportunity for overtime and target bonuses. Benefits include 70% personal and dependant; medical, prescriptions, dental and paramedics.

The Role:

Perform critical safety inspections and certifications on all types of utility, dump and enclosed trailers in accordance with the Ontario DriveOn program.
Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on trailers and related equipment
Ensure full compliance with all MTO (Ministry of Transportation of Ontario) safety requirements and company standards
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed and inspections completed
Support our sales and service teams by ensuring the timely delivery of "safetied" trailers to our customers

What We're Looking For

A licensed 310J/T Technician in Ontario (required)
Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and repair skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently, but also enjoys working in a team environment
A reliable, detail-oriented professional who is committed to quality workmanship
Good communication skills
