Full job description

This is not typical driving job. If you're looking to sit behind the wheel all day, this is not the role for you.

We are seeking a reliable, physically strong, and experienced Lead Driver who thrives in an active, hands-on environment. You will divide your day between operating commercial moving trucks, heavy lifting, furniture assembly, and leading warehouse logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Transport: Safely operate company commercial trucks between warehouse and client properties across the GTA.
Loading & Space Optimization: Efficiently load, pack, and secure high-end furniture and staging accessories in the truck cargo space to prevent transit damage.
Property Setup & Assembly: Assemble, de-assemble, move, and position furniture inside client staging properties according to design instructions.
Destaging & Packing: Safely pack, move, and return accessories and furniture back to the warehouse post-project.
Warehouse & Fleet Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip commercial vehicle inspections, handle routine truck maintenance checks, and maintain an organized warehouse.
On-Site Representation: Professional customer service and leadership when interacting with homeowners, realtors, and team members on-site.

Requirements

License & History: Valid DZ License with a clean driver's abstract and CVOR (must be submitted upon application).
Driving Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional G/DZ truck driving experience.
Moving Experience: Minimum 1 years of professional heavy moving experience (home staging or residential moving experience strongly preferred).
Physical Demands: Must be physically fit and comfortable with continuous heavy lifting (50+ lbs), bending, and active physical labor throughout the shift.
Technical & Mechanical Skills: Hands-on knowledge of basic truck maintenance, tool usage for furniture assembly/disassembly, and strategic cargo placement.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, safety-conscious mindset, reliability, and clear communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
