Full job description

Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Diagnostic Iamging, and working as a member of the DI/Cardiorespiratory Services, the Registered EEG Technician is responsible for performing electroencephalograms and related electrophysiological activity as well as other clinical assignments.

Education

Registered or eligible for registration with the Canadian Board of Registered EEG Technologists (CBRET)
Member of Canadian Association of EEG Technologists (CAET) preferred

Experience

Minimum 2 years experience preferred, along with demonstrated experience using digital EEG recordings, long-term video and portable EEG recordings
Ability to actively trouble shoot equipment problems
Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates a high regard for quality and attention to detail
Demonstrates initiative to work independently with minimal supervision required
Current CPR or BCLS certification.
Good work and attendance record required
