We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Assistant / Intern to join our engineering team.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager / Project Engineer, the Manufacturing Engineering Assistant / Intern will primarily support the creation, editing, and maintenance of technical drawings for production components, tooling components, and manufacturing projects.
This position is mainly CAD-focused, involving drawing creation and revision work. Candidates must be highly proficient and comfortable using both SolidWorks and AutoCAD independently.
Depending on the successful candidate, this opportunity may be offered as either:
- A summer position, or
- An up to 16-month internship/co-op placement
There is potential for the position to transition into a full-time role following completion of the placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and revise technical drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Support the development of production and tooling components
- Maintain drawing revisions and engineering documentation
- Assist with manufacturing and engineering-related projects
- Ensure drawings are accurate, organized, and properly controlled
- Perform additional engineering support duties as required
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is required
- Comfortable independently creating and modifying technical drawings
- Completed at least 3rd year of a Mechanical Engineering or related engineering/technology program preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in manufacturing and engineering considered an asset

Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
