Your Responsibilities as a Flat Roofer:
- Install, repair, or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
- Expertly install, repair, or replace single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials like modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
- Maintain a high standard of quality and safety on all projects.
- Collaborate effectively with your team to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Manage materials and equipment responsibly on site.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Proven experience and knowledge in all types of flat roofing applications, including BUR, MOD BIT, and single-ply systems.
- Valid Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
- Valid Rooftop Safety Training certification (Fall Protection).
- Physical aptitude for demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- A strong team player attitude with proven dependability and reliability.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with a consistent workload.
- Must be able to reliably commute to various job sites within Newmarket, ON, and the surrounding region.
