Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with various tools and machinery, and excellent customer service skills. Prior dealership experience and familiarity with heavy and industrial equipment are highly valued. Duties

Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles, trucks, and industrial equipment using hand tools, power tools, and specialized schematics.
Conduct maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, electrical system troubleshooting, and system calibrations.
Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
Utilize welding skills for body repairs or component fabrication as needed.
Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to accurately identify issues and implement solutions.
Assist with the assembly of parts or components during repair or maintenance procedures.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Experience

Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair is required.
Experience working with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery is preferred.
Knowledge of HVAC systems, welding techniques, electrical systems, and industrial equipment operation is highly desirable.
Familiarity with dealership environments or similar service centers is a plus.
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance procedures.
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
Excellent problem-solving skills along with good communication abilities to assist customers effectively.
