Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot telematics devices, GPS tracking systems, dash cams, and related mobile electronics on fleet vehicles (12V–48V systems)
- Perform diagnostics and repairs to ensure proper system functionality
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Maintain installation and repair documentation
- Travel to client locations as required (travel costs fully covered)
- Ensure work meets quality and safety standards
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in mobile electronics installation (preferred)
- Strong understanding of vehicle and heavy equipment electrical systems (12V–48V)
- Experience with CAN bus systems and OBD-II protocols (an asset)
- Skilled with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, soldering, and diagnostic software
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- MECP Certification (an asset)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required)
Pay: $28.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
