Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. This role is vital in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests and supporting smooth restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and courteously at the counter.
Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders and payments efficiently.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, food prep stations, and utensils in compliance with food safety standards.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to proper food handling procedures.
Ensure all food safety regulations are followed diligently.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally.

Skills

Experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and sanitation protocols.
Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Effective cashiering skills with basic math abilities for accurate cash handling.
Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
Ability to upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Kitchen experience or familiarity with the food industry is a plus but not required.
