Warehouse Associate

This is a full time permanent position. Job Description
- Load and unload trucks/trailers. Put away and organize stock
- Pick, pack and ship orders from our warehouse
- Receive and ticket product
- Pickup / Deliver goods to job sites, vendors or our retail locations
- Occasionally use hand and power tools to set up game tables as per manufacturer’s specifications
- Operate forklifts and other equipment, including but not limited to the following: Pallet Jack, Counterbalance Forklift, 16ft Cube Van, Cargo Van
- Work collaboratively within a team to complete projects with specific deadlines
- Interact in an effective manner with clients
- Help with loading and off-loading trucks and other general labour duties as required
- General warehouse duties
- Some building maintenance duties
- Complete online forms for deficiencies and various reporting functions
- Maintain a clean work area to ensure safety of clients and coworkers
- On deliveries we travel within Southern Ontario as required although the majority of work will be located in the GTA.
Job Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and physical dexterity using hand and power tools is a must.
- Forklift License is an asset
- Able to lift very heavy items, in excess of 75lbs. on a regular basis. - required.
- Have and maintain a full G drivers license and 3 years heavy truck driving experience with clean abstract. - required
- Our insurance company requires that drivers be 25 years of age or older to drive our vehicles.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and work under tight deadlines.
- Solid experience in packaging, shipping and freight handling.
- Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Highly flexible and able to adapt to quickly changing priorities.
- Positive approach with a focus on the customer experience.
- Self-starter with the ability to execute and oversee a project until the end.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Safety footwear in required.
Additional Information
- Maintain professionalism in both communication and appearance at all times when dealing with both coworkers and clients
- Hours can vary from day to day. Finish times can vary depending on work load. Your availability must be flexible to accommodate a fluctuating schedule including possible early or later days and possible occasional weekend jobs.

Education and Accreditation
- Post-Secondary education is considered an asset.
