Position: Full Time Rapid Respose
Site: Seneca Polytechnic
City: All Campus (York/North York/King)
Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
Hours: Rotating Continental (0700-1900/1900-0700)
Pay Rate: $19.00 / an hour

Key Responsibilities

Conduct proactive foot and vehicle patrols throughout all extensive facilities, academic buildings, residence, and student spaces

Respond to incidents, alarms, and medical emergencies with confidence and care

Provide excellent customer service and information to students, visitors, and faculty
-
Monitor access, enforce campus policies, and assist with crowd management during events
-
Prepare thorough incident reports and assist with investigations
-
Engage with Toronto Police, Fire, EMS, and campus partners as needed

Qualifications
-
Legally Authorized to Work in Canada
-
Ontario Security Guard License
-
WSIB Approved Standard First Aid/CPR Level C
-
Strong communication skills and an upbeat, professional attitude
-
Ability to handle fast-paced, diverse campus demands
-
Prior post-secondary or healthcare security experience an asset
-
Bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus
-
Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)

Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position

Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
