Full job description

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support our HR function. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is interested in building a career in Human Resources and gaining hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, payroll support, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including document preparation, employee information collection, and record maintenance.
Maintain employee files, HR records, trackers, and internal databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist with payroll and benefits-related information collection in coordination with Finance.
Support employee engagement activities, internal communications, HR projects, and general administrative tasks.
Conduct basic research on HR best practices, employment legislation, and workplace compliance when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
Strong interest in developing a career in Human Resources.
Previous internship, volunteer, or administrative experience is an asset but not required.
Strong communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Basic knowledge of Ontario employment legislation is an asset.
Bilingualism in English and Mandarin is preferred.
