Overview
We are looking for a Packaging Coordinator to join our team as a member of ICON Visual. This position will report to the Production Manager at our office located in Markham, ON. The Packaging Coordinator supports day-to-day project execution, quality control, and workflow management for retail and visual merchandising packaging solutions.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to and subject to change upon review:
- Coordinate packaging production timelines, schedules, and deliverables across multiple projects
- Work with design, production, and account teams to ensure packaging specifications are accurate and production ready
- Ensure all packaging materials meet brand standards, quality expectations, and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate project documentation, packaging specifications, and status updates
- Identify and resolve production or delivery issues proactively
- Assist with quality assurance checks during sampling and production stages
- Coordinate shipment schedules and communicate timelines to internal stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for packaging processes and workflow efficiency

Desired Experience & Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Packaging, Graphic Communications, Supply Chain, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in packaging coordination, production coordination, print production, or visual merchandising
- Experience working with retail packaging, POP displays, or branded environments is an asset
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with ERP, project management, or packaging workflow systems is an asset
- Knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, and production timelines preferred

Pay: $21.63-$23.08 per hour
