Montessori MACTE Accredited Toddler Guide

About the Position

We are seeking a warm, patient, and dedicated Montessori Toddler Guide to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about Montessori education and committed to creating a calm, respectful, and nurturing environment where toddlers can develop independence, confidence, and a love of learning.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain an authentic Montessori toddler environment.
Present developmentally appropriate Montessori materials and activities.
Observe each child and respond to their individual developmental needs and interests.
Foster independence, concentration, language development, coordination, and social-emotional growth.
Support children respectfully with toileting, meals, dressing, rest, and other daily routines.
Maintain a peaceful, organized, clean, and inviting classroom.
Document children's development and maintain appropriate classroom records.
Build positive and professional relationships with parents and families.
Collaborate effectively with assistants, educators, administration, and other members of the school community.
Follow all health, safety, licensing, and school policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

MACTE-accredited Infant & Toddler Montessori credential/training is required.
Experience working in a Montessori toddler environment is required
Strong knowledge of Montessori philosophy and toddler development.
Patient, nurturing, dependable, and professional.
Excellent communication, observation, and classroom-management skills.
Current First Aid/CPR certification.
Vulnerable Sector Check and all other required documentation to work in a licensed childcare
