Prism Eye Institute (PEI) has been serving the communities of North York, Brampton, Oakville/Mississauga and surrounding areas for over 50 years.
In 2020 North Toronto Eye Care (NTEC) merged with Prism Eye Institute, to form Prism Group Holdings (Prism), the largest Ophthalmology practice in Canada.
In 2022, PEI further strengthened a partnership with Vision Group Canada (VGC) and is working to expand its footprint nationally. VGC operates over 50 clinics and 70 surgical facilities performing over 100,000 procedures annually.

Prism is a centre of excellence providing a full spectrum of eye care and recognized for handling some of the most complex eye diseases in the world.
Our surgical center, located in North York, has an exciting opportunity for a Cosmetic Nurse Injector to join our amazing team as we have an existing vacancy. As part of our team you will contribute to providing care to our surgical clients. Your duties will be to provide nurse services under the direction of the Surgeon and will include:
- Administer Botox, dermal fillers, and other injectable treatments according to physician orders and clinic protocols.
- Assess patients’ medical histories and treatment suitability, ensuring safe and effective care.
- Educate patients on treatment options, procedural expectations, and post-procedure care.
- Document all procedures accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Monitor patients during and after treatments for adverse reactions and manage complications promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate patient care plans.
- Maintain infection control standards and a sterile treatment environment.
- Stay current with advancements in aesthetic medicine, nursing practices, pain management, and patient safety protocols.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Valid nursing license (RN or RPN) in good standing.
- Experience in hospital, acute care, or outpatient medical office settings preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and laboratory procedures (including phlebotomy).
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced clinical environments.
- Completion of accredited injector training programs (e.g., Allergan, Galderma, or other recognized aesthetic certifications).
- Certification in injection safety, facial anatomy, and adverse event management.
- Experience in patient consultations for aesthetic procedures.
- Knowledge of current trends in aesthetic medicine and minimally invasive procedures.
