Your Responsibilities

Supervise the daily operations of the Ocean Freight, Air Freight, and/or Customs Operations team to ensure efficient and accurate shipment processing.
Lead, coach, and support operations staff to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high performance.
Monitor shipment status and resolve operational issues, service failures, and customer escalations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, customs regulations, and carrier requirements.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Coordinate with carriers, overseas agents, trucking companies, warehouses, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
Support the Sales team with operational expertise, pricing assistance, and new customer onboarding.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and overseas partners to ensure excellent customer service.
Monitor departmental KPIs and operational performance, and prepare reports for management.
Review operational documentation for accuracy and ensure timely billing.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training while fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment.

Your Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or international transportation operations.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with CargoWise or other freight forwarding management systems is preferred.
Excellent knowledge of freight forwarding documentation, customs regulations, and international shipping procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
Mandarin is considered a strong asset (or required, depending on business needs).
