Why this role is important?
The Promotional Merchandising Allocations Specialist is the subject matter expert responsible for ensuring all Mass Order Generations (MOGs) are accurately allocated, approved, and loaded within established timelines. Working closely with Category Management, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Operations, this role manages the end-to-end seasonal MOG process to support promotional strategies that drive sales and gross margin performance.
MOG (Mass Order Generation): Automatically generated store orders that support promotional programs developed by Category Management and Merchandising teams to achieve planned sales objectives.
What you'll do

Create, allocate, and load MOG orders into SAP and communicate confirmations to Category Management and Supply Chain teams.

Manage the end-to-end MOG process, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and adherence to established procedures.

Partner with Category and IT teams to monitor item availability, order status, and resolve issues or change requests.

Update MOG inclusion lists, approval documentation, period templates, and submission tracking records.

Add or remove items and stores from MOGs based on approved business, operational, or capital plan requirements.

Manage and coordinate timelines for all seasonal programs with Category, Inventory, and Logistics teams to ensure activities are executed accurately and on schedule.

Liaise regularly with Category Management and Business Analytics teams to support the effective flow of all MOGs through the business.

Monitor inventory levels and allocation performance using allocation models and sales analysis.

Track, analyze, and report on MOG performance, including sell-through results and historical allocation trends.

Ensure promotional substitutions, cancellations, and change requests are accurately tracked and updated in relevant systems (e.g., CPMS).

Maintain accurate records and perform related administrative duties.

Experience using SAP, CPMS, MicroStrategy, or similar enterprise systems.

Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting data to support business decisions.
