You are an internally recognized expert in process development and process engineering and identify, define and solve complex business problems by applying your broad technical and consumer knowledge and in-depth understanding of manufacturing technology related to Mondelēz products. You serve as a senior technical resource for the organization, regularly interacting with senior management.
How you will contribute
You will support development, optimization and specification of processes that deliver consumer benefit through new products, quality improvements and cost savings opportunities. You will develop project objectives, technical approach, project plans, deliverables and timelines to deliver solutions on time and on budget, and execute against these plans, all while providing status updates to stakeholders. As a technical leader for process development and process technologies, you will: continually evolve your business-relevant expertise; define and share technical best practices; influence technical direction for the benefit of the business, and; drive the technical development of people in RDQ through teaching, coaching and mentoring, and identifying future technical leaders.

We are seeking an exceptional Technical Lead, a pivotal role within our plant's leadership team. This position demands a dynamic professional with a robust technical background and proven leadership capabilities, ready to drive innovation, new technology implementation and operational excellence.
As a key member of our leadership team (PLT), you will be instrumental in bridging complex technical insights with strategic business objectives. Your ability to influence, communicate gaps, and champion best practices will be critical in delivering measurable results that impact waste reduction, efficiency gains, and sustained growth across our operations.

Supporting and executing bench-top, pilot-scale, and plant-scale process development activities in partnership with Research and Development (R&D) and Engineering.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or Food Science.
Certifications: Green Belt certification. Optional.
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of progressive industry experience within a manufacturing environment.
Technical Acumen: Demonstrated strong process background with an advanced understanding of statistical, modeling, and simulation tools.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and oversee budgets, risks, and timelines with an action-oriented approach.
Global Mindset: Experience or strong aptitude for thinking and working effectively in a global context.

Working Environment & Expectations:
On-Site Presence: This role demands a significant on-site presence, with at least 65% of your activities conducted on the plant floor within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Impact: Your contributions will directly impact product quality, process performance, and cost efficiency. You will be recognized and trusted as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Adherence to standard PPE requirements including steel-toe, slip-resistant shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs): Strict compliance with GMPs such as hair nets, beard guards, no jewelry, no fake nails or nail polish, and no lash extensions.
Travel: Travel may be required as needed by the business.
Salary and Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this position is $102,600 to $128,250 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 14% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
