Magna Golf Club, one of Canada’s most exclusive private golf clubs located in Aurora, Ontario, is looking for Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance Labourers for the 2026 season. Successful applicants need to be able to work into the fall.

In 2026, the club will embark on an extensive multi-year full bunker renovation project. Doug Carrick will lead the renovation design with Flightline Golf Inc. as the lead contractor. The bunker renovation will incorporate the Better Billy Bunker drainage system along with Pro Angle Bunker Sand.
DETAILED POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance Labouer role is essential to the day-to-day operations of the Magna Golf Club Maintenance department.
MGC offers the opportunity to be involved in a fast-paced advanced technology agronomic program. Our forward-thinking program includes the use of many biologicals, turf stimulants and alternative plant health products in maintaining our golf course with the goal of promoting desirable turf species.
In this position, you will be involved in many aspects of turf management practices with the goal of providing consistent tournament conditions every day of our six-month season. Magna offers a state-of-the-art Maintenance facility with all the modern well-maintained equipment required to achieve these goals.
All Maintenance employees are required to complete a comprehensive training and orientation process to ensure their safety. We provide a positive and supportive atmosphere, where individuals can succeed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Involvement in the 2026 bunker renovation project when required
- Sand trap maintenance and repair when required
- Maintain playing surfaces as directed
- Utility vehicle operation on the course
- Mower, dump trailer and/or other light equipment operation as required
- Help with general course clean up
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to begin work in the early morning and to work alternate weekends (4 hours/day on weekends)

Desired Skills:
- Prior golf course or sports turf experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and expand your current skill set
- Willingness to work in variable weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality a must
- Valid driver’s license
