The Landscaping Division of Kate's Garden is seeking experienced gardeners/horticultural technicians to join our Gardening Services Team. The position is full-time with a winter layoff period. Based out of Main Street Markham North and near a transportation hub. Servicing predominantly York Region for over 28 years, Kate's Garden is known for: excellent garden care, garden clean ups, renovating gardens, installing beautiful new gardens, hardscaping, garden carpentry, soil and mulch amendments and creating bespoke seasonal containers. Our Gardening Services division is integral to our Botanical Boutique, Garden Centre, Floristry and Workshop business.

Our landscape technicians typically work 40 to 44 hours a week with days beginning at 8am. Occasional Saturday work should be expected in high season. Our Landscape Gardeners complete tasks from maintenance of residential and commercial properties to the installation of softscape elements.
We DO NOT Cut Grass or Plow Snow. Our Lay off period is ten weeks from late December to early March as we do not do snow removal.
Applicant Qualifications
· Considerable experience and/or certification in Related skilled trade, college or university diploma.
· Valid G License with a clean abstract and reliable transportation.
· Problem solving/ time management/ communication skills.
· Able to perform physically demanding tasks.
· Detail oriented with an ability to see tasks through to completion.
· Proactive and reliable.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
