We are currently looking for motivated, hardworking Landscape Crew Leader to join our growing field crew. Each week brings variety and new challenges. You may be installing a new lawn, revitalizing garden beds, maintaining beautiful properties, or completing seasonal cleanups. Pay: $20 – $27 per hour (based on experience)
What You'll Be Doing
As a member of our field team, you will work on a variety of landscape maintenance and enhancement projects across downtown Toronto.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising daily crew operations on landscape maintenance and enhancement projects
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
- Installing sod, plants, soil, aggregates, and mulch
- Weeding, cultivating, and maintaining garden beds
- Lawn cutting and trimming
- Pruning hedges, shrubs, and small trees
- Applying fertilizers and plant health treatments
- Participating in team meetings and safety initiatives
- Spring and fall property cleanups
- Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment, and company facilities
- Assisting with other landscape tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and enjoys working outdoors as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Minimum two seasons of landscape maintenance or enhancement experience
- Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Commitment to safety for yourself, your teammates, and the public
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting, bending, using hand tools, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
