The role
We need someone to help build and work our B2B pipeline. You'll be reaching out to interior design studios, luxury showrooms, property managers, and concierge services, etc introducing them to Yugo's partner program and booking discovery calls.
This is open to students in co-op or internship placements, recent graduates, and candidates with prior sales experience. Your background matters less than how you think and how you write. You'll work directly with the founder. If you're good, the path to full-time and pay increase is available.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls, Linkedin messages and emails to prospective clients to generate new leads and qualify inbound inquiries
- Research and identify B2B prospects: interior designers, luxury retailers, hospitality operators, property managers, Corporate Relocation Coordinators, Art Galleries & Auction houses etc.
- Sit in on discovery calls as you grow into the role
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospects, understanding their needs to tailor solutions effectively
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute targeted campaigns and outreach strategies
- Use Hubspot tools to track interactions, manage leads, and update customer information
- Assist in creating compelling sales pitches and presentations for business development efforts
- Support the sales team in achieving quarterly and annual targets through proactive outreach
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to identify new opportunities
Skills
- Clear, confident written communication, cold outreach that sounds like a person, not a template
- Ability to research a company and find the right contact without being handed a list
- Comfortable having real conversations with decision-makers, not just sending emails and hoping
- Organized enough to manage 30 to 50 active prospects without things slipping
- Expert in HubSpot or any CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, basic Google Workspace
- Knows when to follow up and when to back off
- Can explain what makes Yugo different in one sentence without sounding like a brochure
- Coachable, takes feedback, adjusts, and doesn't repeat the same mistake twice
