Cesaroni Technology Incorporated (CTI) is a Canadian engineering and manufacturing company specializing in aerospace propulsion systems, ammunition components, polymeric heat exchangers, and custom test equipment. We are looking for a motivated Millwright Apprentice to join our team and develop their skills in a diverse manufacturing environment.
Position Summary
The Millwright Apprentice will work alongside experienced maintenance personnel to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role provides hands-on experience across multiple departments while supporting the safe and efficient operation of our facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment under the guidance of experienced tradespeople.
- Assist with equipment installations, alignments, and commissioning.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
- Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Support facility maintenance, including pumps, compressors, ventilation systems, conveyors, and other plant equipment.
- Assist with diagnosing equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) (433A) program at a recognized college or training institution.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings is considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset.
