This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced RN who wants to shape nursing practice, build a high-performing team, and help patients navigate one of the most meaningful journeys of their lives.

The Opportunity
As Nursing Manager, you'll lead the nursing team that is the heartbeat of this clinic. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of nursing operations - schedules, standards, education, escalation - while staying connected to direct patient care. You'll work closely with our physicians, operations leadership, and IVF lab to make sure patients move through their treatment cycles safely, smoothly, and with genuine support. This isn't a desk job. You'll be on the floor, visible to your team, and trusted to make clinical calls. You'll also have a real voice in how nursing at Pollin evolves.
What You'll Do
Lead the Nursing Team
- Own the nursing schedule - coverage, balance, gaps - for a 7-day clinic.
- Coach, support, and develop nurses at every level, from onboarding through ongoing growth.
- Run regular team meetings with real follow-through on issues and priorities.
- Support hiring decisions and performance conversations with care and directness.
- Keep nursing practice consistent across the team - not just on paper, but in reality.
Stay Close to Clinical Care
- Provide hands-on oversight of patient flow, nursing procedures, and cycle management.
- Deliver patient education on treatment plans, medications, injections, and what to expect.
- Administer injections, perform venipuncture, and step in clinically where needed.
- Be the escalation point when nursing calls need a senior voice.
- Ensure documentation in the clinic's systems is accurate, timely, and complete.
Connect the Dots
- Serve as the link between physicians, nurses, patient services, and operations.
- Represent nursing in clinical and leadership meetings - and actually follow up.
- Bring problems forward early and help find solutions, not just flag issues.
Uphold Quality and Safety
- Keep nursing practice aligned with CNO standards, infection prevention requirements, and Pollin policy.
- Monitor incidents and near misses, and lead corrective actions where needed.
- Support accreditation readiness and quality improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in any acute, procedural, or ambulatory setting.
- At least 5-10 years in a leadership, charge, or supervisory nursing role.
- BCLS certification.
- Proven ability to lead a team with both warmth and accountability.
- Comfortable with clinical systems, Google Workspace, and digital workflows.
- Commitment to inclusive care, including sensitivity to 2SLGBTQIA+ patients and diverse families.
Nice to Have
- BScN.
- Experience in fertility, OB/GYN, reproductive medicine, or women's health.
- ACLS certification.
- Experience with SOP development or accreditation processes.
Working Conditions
Full-time, on-site. The clinic runs 7 days a week, typically 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Some weekend, holiday, or after-hours coverage will be required.
Must comply with infection prevention, confidentiality, and safety standards.
