Two positions: 1. Crew Supervisor, 2. Admin Assistant / Labourer

We are a residential property care, painting, and handyworks company seeking two individuals to complete our growing team. Experience and skills are important, and attitude, and sensibility are essential. We are a small company cultivating a respectful, savvy, compassionate, work environment with the company owner, our niche clientele, and all of us with each other. These two contract positions are part of a process of this seasonal company growing and becoming a full-time employer with benefits.
The two open positions require different, specific skill sets, though they both involve the ability to work collaboratively and independently in multifaceted tasks. Both require organizational and physical aptitudes, attention to detail, being suited to physical and handy-skilled work, as well as administrative duties.
One opening is for a crew supervisor, and the other is a support role both in the office and onsite working with the owner on marketing, social media development, photography, and other administrative duties, as well as assisting the crew onsite.
1. The Supervisor position requires demonstrated trades and supervisory experience and a high degree of responsibility and accountability in managing and maintaining productivity on jobsites while representing the company, especially when the owner is not onsite. This role combines supervisory responsibilities with some on-site administrative duties, ensuring that our projects and hourly tasks are documented and that workflow is organized and completed efficiently, safely, and to high quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, construction management expertise, and proficiency with industry-specific procedures, equipment, and tools. This position offers an opportunity to lead a team, manage project workflows, and contribute to successful project delivery in a dynamic environment.
2. The Creative Admin Assistant / Labourer position requires being adaptable to a wide variety of tasks and having a wide array of applicable skills. This will include creative collaboration on various marketing, web-based, and muti-media arts projects adjacent and related to company business. Experience in website and social media development, photography, and office administration is required, as well as experience and or aptitude as a painter's helper / labourer assisting the crew, and documenting the work on jobsites. This job will involve office, remote, and residential painting / construction jobsites. This position requires a strong arts / creative aptitude, particularly suitable to an artist/ Jack or Jill of all trades.
