The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. This role supervises accounting staff, supports month-end and year-end close processes, and assists management with financial analysis and internal controls. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; CPA designation is not required. Reporting into the Controller

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support the daily activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses
Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Prepare and review financial statements and internal management reports
Maintain and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requests as needed
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function
Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to accounting staff

Qualifications & RequirementsEducation

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
CPA designation not required

Experience

5+ years of progressive accounting experience
1–3 years of supervisory or lead accounting experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
