We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Aurora, Ontario. This position is available immediately, and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate plays a key role in receiving, organizing, picking, packing, assembling, and shipping educational materials and resources to schools and educational organizations across Canada. The successful candidate will help maintain inventory accuracy, support production and kitting activities, ensure timely order fulfillment, and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
The Warehouse Associate works closely with the Warehouse Manager and other team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations, inventory control, production activities, and exceptional service to CEW customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Assemble educational kits and product bundles according to specifications.
- Participate in production, assembly, and kitting activities for customer orders and special projects.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
- Organize warehouse stock and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
- Assist with returns, product inspections, and inventory reconciliation.
- Collaborate with warehouse and customer service staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Follow company policies and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Perform local deliveries and pickups as required.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada and possess a valid work permit, permanent resident status, or Canadian citizenship.
- Must currently reside within York Region.
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence.
- Excellent driving record and ability to provide a driver's abstract upon request.
- Ability to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check (Police Check).
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Basic computer skills.
Assets (Preferred but Not Required)
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, production, assembly, or inventory management experience.
- Valid forklift operator certification/licence.
- Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Ability to communicate in both English and French.
- Experience using inventory management or warehouse management systems.
French-language skills and a valid forklift licence are considered strong assets and will be given preference.
Additional Conditions of Employment

- Valid Ontario driver's licence maintained throughout employment.
- Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting, bending, standing, and moving materials throughout the workday.
